JACLYN JOSE BUSY DOING ONE MOVIE & TV SHOW AFTER ANOTHER, MAKES SURE SHE DOESN'T INTIMIDATE THE NEW STARS SHE WORKS WITH

JACLYN JOSE is so busy doing one project after another.

She’s currently in the cast of two movies, “Acetylene Love” with Allen Dizon and “Poon” with a star-studded cast headed by Janice de Belen, Gina Pareno, Ara Mina and others.

She has now also just finished taping a six-part mini-series, “Deadly Love”, that will start streaming on Viva on July 10.

So what role does she play in “Deadly Love”?

“Ako si Marga, mother ako ni Louise de los Reyes as Tessa and asawa ko si Raffy Tejada as Julio,” she says at the show’s presscon at Botejyu Gateway.

“Misteryoso ang pagkatao namin ni Raffy and later on, hindi matitiyak ni Louise kung kami ba talaga ang magulang niya at ano ba ang itinatago naming lihim sa aming pagkatao.

"It’s an intriguing story with very dark characters na tiyak na susubaybayan ng viewers kapag nag-start na ito streaming on Viva One on July 10.”

She has worked with Louise before on a soap in GMA-7. But it’s her first time to work with Marco Gumabao and McCoy de Leon who play Louise’ two leading men.

Since she’s an internationally award-winning actress, how is it working with newcomers?

“I make sure I don’t intimidate them,” she says.

She says she doesn’t see the point in scaring your co-stars just because you’re a veteran and they’re neophytes.

Has she experienced the series’ title, ‘Deadly Love’, in real life.

“Ay oo naman. Naka-experience na ako. Deadly love talaga. But don’t ask for the details anymore kasi it’s all done now.

But yes, it happened to me and it was very scary.”

She says it was a matter of life and death.

Once is enough.
