THE FANS of the Allen Ansay-Sofia Pablo love team are elated as they have a new show, “In My Dreams”, a digital drama series from GMA Public Affairs which is now airing of their Facebook page and youtube channel.
After their hit team up in “Luv Is: Caught in His Arms”, Sparkle sweethearts Allen and Sofia are out to solidify their tandem with the six-part series about lucid dreaming.
The story is about Sofia as Sari, a certified NBSB who feels she has no control over anything in her life.
One day, she stumbles upon an article about lucid dreaming and attempts to achieve it, until she finally does.
In her dreams, she meets a handsome young man named Jecoy (played by Allen). With her consistent lucid dreaming, the two reunite each night and, as may be expected, fall in love.
But will the romance Sari has found in her dreams eventually become a reality?
With the unique storyline full of so many “kilig” moments, Sofia and Allen welcome the chance for them to explore their roles in this unique story about love and dreams.
"It’s really enjoyable to do, kasi sobrang kakaiba po 'yung kwento,” says Sofia.
“Iba yung dream world sa reality, so nakakapag-explore ako ng kakaibang acting style."
How about Allen?
“Very challenging po ang material kasi the concept is really something different,” he says.
“Mas na-realized ko nga na may mga kailangan at pwede pa pala akong gawin sa craft ko kasi maganda 'yung twist ng kuwento.”
Touted as the Most Promising Young Love Team today, the Alfia or Team Jolly tandem of Allen and Sofia gained lots of fans when they posted their video together on Tiktok and Regal paired them in “Raya Sirena”.
They’re happy to be together again in “In My Dreams”. Joining the love team in the show are fellow Sparkle artists Elijah Alejo, Cheska Fausto, Tanya Ramos, Juancho Trivino and Sanya Lopez in a very special role.
Adding excitement to the romance-magic realism series are content creators Ashley Rivera, Christian Antolin, Berniecular, Alexis Vines, and Prince Adrian Dagdag.
