'THE CLASH SEASON 4' CHAMPION MARIANE OSABEL RELEASES FIRST SINGLE ON GMA MUSIC, THE LOVE SONG 'PIRA-PIRASO'

MARIANE OSABEL is the fourth grand champion of GMA's hit and acclaimed singing competition “The Clash”.

She is currently a regular performer in the Sunday noontime variety show "All-Out Sundays". Marian was born in Iligan City on January 28, 1998.

She lived with her family for a while in Saudi Arabia but got her degree in Environmental Engineering from the Mindanao State University.

She was the vocalist of a band called Echoes, then she joined “Tawag ng Tanghalan” and later, “The Clash Season 4”.

GMA got her to record the theme songs of their drama series, “Kahit Ano Pa ang Mangyari” for “First Lady” and “Bakit Mahal Pa Rin Kita” for “The Penthouse”.

Now, she releases her debut single under GMA Music titled ‘Pira-piraso.’

Composed by Issa Rodriguez, the song is about healing your heart from a past love that hurt you, forgetting all the mistakes and traumas associated with it, moving on and learning to fully love someone once again.

‘Pira-piraso’ is a dream come true for Mariane.

“I am so grateful na nabigyan ako ng ganitong opportunity na maging singer sa GMA. Very happy rin ako dahil natupad ko na rin ang laging wish ng aking supporters and fans for me to record my own song.”

She revealed that the song speaks about her own experience about love.

“Nagkausap po kami nina Sir Paulo Agudelo (music producer) and Ate Issa (composer) and they aske me kung ano ang gusto kong feels or genre sa single ko.

"I told them I want it to be personal, kumbaga, something I myself experienced and helped in making me who I am today. At ito na nga po yun.”

Does Mariane feel any rivalry with the other "The Clash" discoveries?

"Ay, wala pong ganon sa amin. We all support each other.

"Actually, I would love to collaborate with other Kapuso singers and since my closest friends in ‘All-Out Sundays’ are Jessica Villarubin, Hannah Precillas and Thea Astley, I am hoping that sana, either one of them po ang makasama ko sa next song ko.”

Her single debuted at the third spot on the iTunes PH chart on its release day.

Catch 'Pira-piraso,' now available on all digital streaming platforms worldwide.
