SIERRA MADRE IN TANAY: THE NEW VACATION PLACE THAT COULD VERY WELL BE THE NEW BAGUIO OR TAGAYTAY!

at the CALINAWAN CAVE: our son MM with his wife and kids

IF YOU’RE LOOKING for a new vacation place, you should definitely try the Sierra Madre Mountains in Tanay, Rizal that now offers so many resort hotels with pools and scenic places that you can visit.

It’s also on top of the mountains like Baguio so it’s cool and breezy, but not as crowded as Baguio has already become so congested. And it’s also nearer and there's no heavy traffic like in Session Road.

You can take the new highway via Masinag through Boso-Boso and from there, it’s only a little about an hour and you’re already in scenic Tanay with its various nature attractions.

Our family is currently up there and here are some photos of the places they’ve visited.

You can go to Daranak Falls or Batlag Falls, the Calinawan Caves, Pililla Windmills, Regina Rica with a giant statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Treasure Mountain with its Obstacle Course and Spider Web's activity, 3 Springs Mountain Park, Apiary Farms, Pangarap Garden Resort and El Patio Razon with its Kawa hot baths.

There are also many restaurants and eateries where you can have good meals at reasonable prices, like Lutong Pugon, La Franco Veranda, Cafe Katerina, Natividad Roastery, and more!

There are many other camp sites that you can visit and explore! There's also the centuries old church in Tanay town proper with its antique stations of the cross.

So if you're looking for alternatives to Baguio. Or Tagaytay. Tanay is it! Visit it now!
