HEART EVANGELISTA has reason to celebrate because her new show, “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon”, is a certified hit.
The whole pilot week not only rated very well but also got very favorable comments from satisfied viewers who all say in the internet that they really missed Heart on TV.
“Ginalingan naman talaga!” says Elvira Tandoc. “Congratulations to the whole Sorsogon team. Talagang aabangan mo ang bawat susunod na episode.”
“I love you, Celeste!” says Gina Cabre, referring to Heart’s name in the show. “Wag kang pakakabog sa mga maldita sa buhay mo. Laban lang. May show na naman akong babantayan gabi-gabi!”
Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero, Heart’s hubby, made a series of tweets saying he’s so happy with the success of the show that is set in his home province which is included in the title itself.
In his Facebook and Twitter account, Chiz showed that he set up a special screening in the provincial capitol attended by their employees and family members who all express their gratitude for the show’s efforts to put their province’s most scenic places in the spotlight.
The show trended on Twitter and Heart’s fans say they are excited to see her again every night on screen playing the role of Celeste, a fashion designer and socialite.
They also delight in seeing her wearing various stylish clothes in every scene of the show.
“I really want to thank all the viewers who enjoyed watching our show,” says Heart. “Hindi nasayang ang paghihirap at pagpapagod naming lahat ng mga kasama ko sa lock in taping in our desire to give them a highly entertaining show.
"Hopefully, the show will also encourage local tourists to visit Sorsogon and its beautiful places now that restrictions for traveling are being slowly lifted, para makapagbiyahe ulit tayong lah

She says viewers should watch out for all the coming new episodes.
“Nagkita na kami rito uli ni Paolo Contis as Mikoy, my former childhood sweetheart. Pero siempre, may conflict kasi may relasyon na ako with Richard Yap as Tonito.
"Pero hindi rin lang yung love story namin ang susundan nyo rito kundi pati yung sa young lovers na sina Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara, na maganda rin ang conflict. Kikiligin kayo for sure sa love story nila.”
