ANDREA TORRES IN ARGENTINA TO SHOOT INTERNATIONAL FILM, TALKS ABOUT DENNIS-JENNYLYN, DEREK-ELLEN COMING WEDDING

ANDREA TORRES UPON HER ARRIVAL IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA

                                            ANDREA WITH AN ARGENTINIAN ACTOR

ANDREA TORRES is currently in Buenos Aires in Argentina to do an international movie project titled “Pasional”. She is the only Filipino in the cast.

She will be playing the role of Mahalia, a professional tango dancer who goes to Argentina to be a member of the judges in the International Tango Dance Festival being held there.

She took dance lessons for three days and learned to love the tango.

“I am so happy I was the one chosen for the role kasi ang ganda ng material,” she said before she left for Argentina last October 21.

“I’m so excited as this will be the first time I am going to South America. Bale this is my second international movie as I’ve done a martial arts-drama film before in Cambodia, ‘Blood in Dispute’, in 2016.

"And doing the movie, I learned to love the tango kasi very romantic ang moves. Even after this, I think, magta-tango pa rin ako.”

In “Pasional”, she will be paired with a veteran Argentine actor, Marcelo Melingo, who will play a biologist named Norberto.

“The movie is actually a love story,” she added.

“I’m so e cc xcited kasi gustong-gusto ko talagang gumagawa ng love stories. I don’t want to reveal much, basta ang ganda ng first meeting ng characters namin dito. It looks like it’s fate that destined for them to meet.”

Andrea has attended the press conference for the movie and she was also featured in various interviews for Argentine television.

“I’m good, they treat me so well and I am really so happy to be here,” she added.

“The Argentinians are just like us as a people, very warm. It didn’t take a lot for me to adjust because of the feel of the place.

"I really felt like I am at home. But early next year, may scenes pa ako na dito naman sa Manila isu-shoot.”

While she’s away, her leading man in “Legal Wives”, Dennis Trillo, has officially proposed marriage to Jennylyn Mercado, who’s now three months pregnant.

Some folks made memes in the internet showing a picture of Andrea as Diane, her character in “Legal Wives”, looking so surprised and exclaiming: “Ha?! May isa pang legal wife. Madaragdagan na naman kami?”

It’s really very funny and Andrea says she has nothing but best wishes for Dennis and Jen.

Meantime, her ex-BF Derek Ramsay has distributed the invitations for his coming wedding to Ellen Adarna scheduled this month in a secret venue.

When asked about this, Andrea chose not to answer at all.

“Naku, feeling ko wala ako sa posisyon para magsalita ng anuman tungkol diyan kasi matagal ko nang naihiwalay ang sarili ko sa buhay niya.”

When she was asked recently about loving again in “Mars Pa More”, she said:

“Mahalin muna ang sarili bago ang iba. Yun naman talaga ang dapat, di ba? I feel yun ang usually mistake nating mga girls, kasi syempre, all out tayo agad.

"So dapat, meron ka muna talaga laging itinitira para sa sarili mo.”

Andrea will soon be seen on GMA in primetime and in the afternoon. “Legal Wives” is currently being aired on GMA Telebabad and enjoying very good ratings.

Come November 15, her hit 2015 drama fantasy with Mikael Daez, “Ang Lihim ni Annasandra” where she plays the title role, will be replayed on GMA Afternoon Prime.
