RAYVER CRUZ RENEWS CONTRACT WITH GMA NETWORK, IN THREE YEARS OF BEING A KAPUSO, HE'S ABLE TO BUILD HIS OWN HOUSE

RAYVER CRUZ definitely has no regrets when he moved to be with GMA Network from being a Kapamilya three years ago.

Since then, he has done several teleseryes where he played the male lead, not just a supporting role like what he did before in ABS. He is also a regular host-performer in “All Out Sunday” and a Clash Master in the reality singing contest, “The Clash”.

In three years, he was able to build a house of his own. We’re told his talent fee with GMA is much higher and he is never without a show, so it’s not surprising that he now renews with glee his commitment with GMA as actor, TV host and performer.

He remains a loyal Kapuso as he signed an exclusive network contract with GMA Network and renewed his management contract with GMA Artist Center on September 9 for 3 years. Rayver can’t help but be emotional during the renewal of his contract.

“Hindi ako emotional na tao pero talagang tinamaan ako rito!” he says. “Nakakatuwa kasi ang tagal ko na rin sa industry, ang dami ko na ring naging kaibigan, mga napamahal na co-actors ko, pero dito ako sa GMA sobrang saya and blessed ng pakiramdam ko.

"I want to take this opportunity para magpasalamat nang mabuti sa aking Kapuso bosses. Sunud-sunod ang trabaho ko with GMA, sunud-sunod ‘yung projects na ipinagkakatiwala nila sa akin.

"I feel so blessed na palagi akong may work sa kabila ng pandemyang nangyayari sa atin ngayon. I’m really so happy and grateful!”

Moreover, he shared how valuable his years as a Kapuso has been. “Throughout the years, as a Kapuso, perseverance talaga ang kailangan mo para mahalin ‘yung trabaho mo. Kailangan mo paghusayan at pagbutihin lagi ang work mo, kasi at the end of the day, hard work always pays off.”

Currently, Rayver plays the role of Alex in the Afternoon Prime series ‘Nagbabagang Luha’ opposite Glaiza de Castro. He is also a mainstay host-performer in the weekend variety show ‘All-Out Sundays’ and is now also gearing up for the fourth season of the all-original musical competition ‘The Clash.’

Now that he is constructing his own house, does this mean that he will soon settle down with inamorata Janine Gutierrez who is now with ABS?

“Naku, hindi pa namin naiisip yan, lalo na nga’t kalilipat pa lang niya ng network,” he says. “And we don’t even know as to when this pandemic will end, so there’s no need to rush.”
