LET'S HELP SISTERS MELISSA MENDEZ AND GLENDA GARCIA PRAY FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOUL OF THEIR DEAR FATHER WHO SUCCUMBED TO THE COVID VIRUS

SISTERS MELISSA MENDEZ and Glenda Garcia lost their dad to  COVID a few days ago.

Their father got the virus from a “kasambahay” who tested positive.

They brought their dad to the doctor as he was having colds. He was given a swab test and it showed that he was positive to the virus.

At sabi niya, oo. Nahalikan ko pa siya bago ako umalis.

"Pero dahil covid positive siya, ibig sabihin, bawal dalawin, for our own safety.

The last time she called her dad is very memorable for Glenda.

"There was one time, I asked him kung ready na ba siya, and he told me, yes, kasi meron siyang COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which makes him very vulnerable to the virus).

Because of what happened, they had a covid scare in their family.

Thank God, negative sila. Yung yaya lang ang positive.

"Nag-swab test din ako kasi we nebulized my dad at ako ang nagta-tap sa likod niya at kumakausap sa kanya. Thank God at negative din ako.

"Pero yung isa pa naming sister at anak niya, and our brother, nag-positive sila. So we all pray na gumaling sana agad sila.”

Let us help them pray for the speedy recovery of their infected family members, and also for the repose of the soul of their late father. Sincere condolences to their grieving family.

Melissa and Glenda both have soaps with GMA-7. Melissa is in "Tres Hermanas" while Glenda will be in the Book 2 of "First Yaya" where she plays journalist Marni Tupaz.
