SAM CONCEPCION & DARRYL ONG JOIN FORCES WITH KATRINA VELARDE & JANINE TENOSO IN 'FOUR HEARTS' CONCERT ON AUGUST 28

SAM CONCEPCION and Darryl Ong get to perform on the same stage for the first time with Kat Velarde and Janine Tenoso in Viva Live’s digital concert, “Four Hearts”, an inspiring celebration of love and life in this season of the pandemic.

“I’m very excited with this project especially at this time when we don’t have avenues where we singers can perform,” Sam says.

“Na-miss ko na ring kumanta and this is the first time we four different artists under the Viva umbrella are performing in a show and I’m proud to say that we have great chemistry.”

He says “Four Hearts” will not just be all singing.

“We will also talk about how the pandemic has affected our lives, our relationships and people in general in these trying times.

"Our personal experiences are tied up with music and people can connect with it. All the anxiety and the uncertainty kung kailan matatapos, all of us experience that and there’s no escape from it.”

“Four Hearts” will pep up its audience with songs that will lift up their spirits.

“The only thing you can do now is just stay at home and take good care of yourself to make sure you’re surviving. People from all walks of life are affected as we still don’t know how long this pandemic would last.

"With 'Four Hearts', we hope we can make people feel that we can still look forward to a silver lining.

"Wala kayong excuse na hindi manood kasi ECQ at nasa bahay lang tayong lahat so be sure to watch ‘Four Hearts’ as it will inspire them to be more courageous these days.”

Darryl says his songs will reflect what's happening in his own personal life.

“Lahat ng personal na nangyari sa buhay ko will be reflected sa songs ko,” he says. “During this pandemic, I got engaged noong July 3, then my mom got sick, naospital, naoperahan so I will sing inspirational songs for her.”

His fiancee is named Dea Formilleza. She is from Davao but has appeared doing supporting roles in GMA soaps.

“Five years na kaming on at buti na lang hindi siya natauhan during that time. We have scheduled our wedding in March of 2022, hoping the pandemic is over by then.

"I will sing an original song na swak sa nangyayari sa buhay namin, ‘Lagda’ written by Mike Shapiro, husband ni Kat Velarde. It’s perfect for weddings so malo-launch yun dito sa concert namin.”

Working with Sam, Kat and Janine is a great blessing for him.

“I’m privileged and I feel honored to be able to work with all of them. Puro sila magagaling so I’m motivated to give my best.

"I also enjoyed working with our director, Paolo Valenciano. Chill lang siya but very creative and collaborative. He’s much fun to work with.

"Dad raw niyang si Gary V is Mr. Pure Energy, siya naman daw si Poor Energy. Tawa ako nang tawa.

"Sa panahon ngayon hindi kayo makapag-bonding like kumain sa labas, so manood kayo ng concert namin while having a special dinner right in the comfort of your own home.”
