PRESENTING OUR ELDEST APO, LOURDES SABINA AKA LOUISE, AS SHE GRADUATES FROM GRADE 12 AT ABBAS ORCHARD CDO

TODAY, ALLOW THIS proud Lolo to gloat.

Our eldest apo, Lourdes Sabina Bautista Wabe, aka Louise, graduates from grade 12 and will now be in college.

She is in Abbas Orchard and the school doesn’t rank their students but I was told she’s at the top of her class.

Congratulations to my dear Louise (I have her that nickname) who was born 18 years ago in New Jersey.

She’s tall, pretty, smart, a tae kwon do blackbelter and now even has her own business, the Lazy Baker, in Cagayan de Oro where they live.

She accepts orders for cakes and pastries that she herself delivers.

She’s also a great writer. Namana niya sa Mama Hannah niya, who’s really proud of her.

She’s been accepted in Ateneo and La Salle here in Manila, but still waiting for the results from UP.

No entrance exams anymore in all the schools because of the pandemic. You are just required to submit your grades and an essay.

She’s also accepted at Xavier University in CDO (where they gave her an entrance exam) and is even offered a scholarship.

Personally, I believe she should take Xavier’s offer, considering we’re now in the midst of a pandemic.

And also, at least, she won’t be living away from her family. Unlike if she’d study in Manila, she’ll be free from her controlling smother (hahaha, joke!)

If she’d study in Manila, she’ll be staying with us and Jane is so happy to have her Ate Louise as her roommate.

But the decision, so her Mom says, is all up to her. We’re glad she has so many options.

Such a fortunate young lady.

A bright future surely lies ahead of her.

May our Dearest Lord God the Father and our Creator guide her in making all the right decisions in her young life.
