PINKY TOBIANO'S HIT WEB SHOW, 'GRATEFUL TUESDAYS', STARTS 3RD SEASON ON TUESDAY, MARCH 16, WITH NEW CO-HOSTS, JAYA & ZEPHANIE

PINKY TOBIANO’s “Grateful Tuesdays”, the inspirational digital show dedicated to spreading gratitude and gift-giving, is one the most successful web shows and it’s now on its 3rd season.

After two hit seasons co-hosted by Yeng Constantino, Chemist Pinky will now have new co-hosts: Queen of Soul Jaya and this Generation’s Pop Princess Zephanie, Idol Philippines winner.

“Grateful Tuesdays” spreads love and joy in these trying times and has given away gadgets such as laptops to deserving students in need, as well as relief goods and cash donations to displaced families and individuals reaching to over a total of 35,000 families.

It has guested top singers like KZ Tandingan, Kyle Echarri, Jay-R, Moira dela Torre, Kyla and celebs like Ruffa Gutierrez, Tim Yap, Herbert Bautista and Mayor Chavit Singson.

“Grateful Tuesdays” is shown Tuesdays nights and it opens with a bang as the show is set to give exciting prizes on its premiere night this coming Tuesday, March 16.

It will be held in El Nido, Palawan, airing simultaneously on Cornerstone Entertainment Facebook Page and Chemist Pinky Tobiano’s Facebook page as well as on the CS Entertainment Kumu Channel.

The show also aims to promote tourism in the country now that businesses are starting to open. Expect exciting tours, visits and trips to some of the Philippines’ well renowned tourist sites.

What lessons has she learned from the past two seasons?

“I realized kulang pa ang ginagawa ko, as there are a lot more things to be done,” says Ms. Pinky. “Kasi andami pa nating puedeng tulungan. Sa lahat ng tinulungan namin, naawa ako sa jeepney drivers.

"Kasi ang tagal nilang walang work and when they were allowed to work na, lugi sila kasi kalahati lang ng capacity nila ang puedeng mapaupuan sa mga pasahero for social distancing.

"Malaki talaga ang nawala sa kanila. I also realized we have so many little things to be thankful for. Being alive is itself already a gift.”

So why the new hosts?

“I want to show Jaya and Sephanie how to be of help and I also want to be more close to them. We’re going all over the country to reach out to more people and bring joy to them.

"I also want them to be instruments of grace in helping out others in need. We’ll go to the mountain provinces to give laptops to deserving students and bags of goods that will help families from two to three weeks.”

As for Jaya, is it true that she’s moving back to the States to follow her husband, Gary Gotidoc, who has found a new and good job there?

“Yes, nauna na roon ang husband ko. We have to think of our family’s well being. Pero hindi naman agad-agad and I will be coming back here as often as i could kasi as a singer, yan ang work ko. Lalo now, I’m committed to do ‘Grateful Tuesdays’ muna.”

What about Zephanie?

“When I learned Miss Pinky wants me to be their co-host, sobrang grateful ako sa opportunity,” she says. “I want to be of help our people. I know it’s risky kasi we go out, e may pandemic.

"But they assured us we’ll be safe with all the health protocols. Ako naman, basta pagtulong sa mga nangangailangan, game na game ako dyan.”

Pinky is a successful chemist and entrepreneur who owns Progressive Laboratories that make topnotch agricultural medicines. How did she get into this advocacy?

“You know, the moment you touch other people’s lives, it feels so good and it’s also healing, ang sarap sa pakiramdam. I owe all I have to God, everything we have in this world is His.

"I want to be an instrument to touch people’s lives with my own little way. In return I just ask for good health lang since I’m a cancer survivor. I pray that I could have a longer life to be able to help more people.”

Will she eventually go into politics?

“No, no politics for me. I just invite people in politics to help us more. Soon we will have a program assisting OFW’s. Sa plane kasi from Singapore, kasabay ko ang 63 OFWs who were laid off from their jobs, so I thought of a project on how to help them and their families.

"So abangan po natin yan. Also, abangan nyo ang guesting ko sa ‘Eat Bulaga’ this coming Saturday and on Tuesday naman, our new season starts with Catriona Gray as our special guest.”
