JANE OINEZA ON THE REAL SCORE BETWEEN HER & RK BAGATSING, ENJOYING ROLE AS THE SWEET MATET ON TV5's 'GEN Z'

JANE OINEZA is one Kapamilya star who’s a favorite “suki” of Regal. She has dones several movies with them and is now in their new TV series on TV5 and Cignal, “Gen Z”.

At its zoom presscon, Jane is asked if it’s true she’s now playing beautiful music with RK Bagatsing, who was her leading in her recent series, “I Got You”, also shown on TV5.

They’ve been linked since they were first paired in the TV series “Araw Gabi” three years ago.

Recently, they were seen in photos taken in Lake Caliraya’s floating cottage and their pictures posted on social media certainly speak a thousand words. They look like they spent the weekend together in that resort.

Jane lets out a hearty laugh before making a reply.

“All I can say is what you see is what you get po, yun na po yun,” she says. “But let’s not talk about RK kasi, in all fairness, he’s not part of ‘Gen Z’.

"Basta ako, I’m satisfied po sa blessings na dumarating sa life and career ko ngayon and I’m happy with ‘Gen Z’ and in my role as Matet, a misunderstood young woman.”

For her, “Gen Z” is an eye-opening show to help people understand more the plight of today’s young people.

“It’s nice to be part of this show that shows the trials and struggles ng mga kabataan ngayon who are raised amidst social media and all the new gadgets of today’s modern technology.

"It shows how this has affected them, their lifestyle and way of thinking.”

In “Gen Z”, she shares topbilling with Jerome Ponce, Chie Filomeno, Darwin Yu, Ricci Rivero, Kent Gonzales and Melizza Jimenez.

“We all got along fine while taping the show,” adds Jane. “The parents and folks of young people today will surely understand them better, where they are coming from, if they would just watch ‘Gen Z’ on TV5, Sundays at 9 PM, with replays on Cignal TV.”
