EAGLE BROADCASTING'S NET 25 LAUNCHING ITS OWN TELESERYE, 'ANG DAIGDIG KO'Y IKAW', STARRING GEOFF EIGENMANN and YNNA ASISTIO

LOOKS LIKE NET 25, the TV Station of Eagle Brocdasting of Iglesia ni Cristo is really going full blast in airing entertainment shows. Before, all they had was the talk show of Gladys Reyes, "Moments".

Then started airing recently their noontime show with Janno Gibbs and Anjo Yllana plus talent shows with Vina Morales and Robin Padilla.

Now, they’re launching their own teleserye, “Ang Daigdig Ko’y Ikaw” (that’s the title of the first movie made by Susan Roces with the late FPJ), starring Geoff Eigenmann with Ynna Asistio.

We're sure most industry people would say that this is an unlikely pairing, but let's face it, Net 25 does not have a stable of their own stars so they just have to settle for those who are available at the moment.

They will have a big launch on Tuesday night at the Iglesia ni Cristo Museum on Central Avenue (we’re invited, but we’re not going) and this should be a really big affair since it’s the first time is inviting the press to a press conference.

Cesar Ian Batingal, their PR officer, says that other stars who are also doing shows with Net25 will also attend the affair, including Vina Morales, Janno Gibbs, Anjo Yllana, Pilita Corrales, Darius Razon, Ruru Madrid (who’s a Kapuso actor but also an Iglesia ni Kristo member), Marco Sison, Marcelito Pomoy, Mia Pangyarihan and Kitkat.

We’re honestly glad that Net 25 is taking a more active role in the industry since that will mean more jobs for actors, directors, writers and crew members. So, let's wish them the best of luck!

It will also mean well for the viewers as they will have more choices of programs they might want to watch aside from those already offered by the other networks. As they say, the more, the merrier!
