SEN. BONG REVILLA CELEBRATES SEPTEMBER 25 BIRTHDAY BY DISTRIBUTING 1,500 TABLET COMPUTERS TO DESERVING STUDENTS

SEN. BONG REVILLA is celebrating another milestone with his birthday on Friday, September 25, and instead of having a big party to celebrate it, he opts to just give 1,500 10-inch tablet computers to deserving students.

The lucky recipients were announced yesterday, Sunday.

He had a zoom presscon with selected members of the press and launched KAP (Kaalaman Ating Palawakin) to give away the gadgets needed for education. Recipients were chosen from the NCR (National Capital Region), Visayas and Mindanao.

Bong.

The senator also expressed alarm over fake news that he died. Vloggers have done this not only to him but also to other celebrities who they reported to have died.

They are are doing this as click bait, so viewers will be immediately attracted then open up their youtube vlogs and they can get more hits.

“This bad practice of reporting fake news has to be stopped,” says the senator.

"Sa mga gumagawa ng fake news na ‘yan, we will do something about it. It is under my committee sa senate.

What can he say that there’s also a report that he was given special treatment at a pricey hospital when he got infected with the corona virus?

“Another fake news,” he says. “How can that happen when I had to wait for two days before I was given my own private room? Well, I’m just thankful kay Lord na magaling na ako ngayon at walang nahawa sa amin sa pamilya ko.

"And now, ready na ako to report, in case magpatawag ang GMA-7 to resume our taping for ‘Agimat ni Agila’. We have started taping it pero natigil nga dahil sa pandemic.”
