CHECK OUT JANNO GIBBS OWN VLOG ON YOUTUBE, 'JGTV', WITH A SPECIAL FATHER'S DAY EPISODE THIS SUNDAY

JANNO GIBBS now has his own youtube channel and you can  access it online as “JGTV Ipagpatawad Mo”. The pilot episode is currently available and Janno tries to reintroduce himself to today’s younger viewers.

“I’m a co-owner of this channel,” he says. “All content was written by me at ako na rin ang director. Oomph TV helps me with the technicals, equipment and the editing. They are under Viva Entertainment.”

What prompted him to put up his own channel?

“I’ve always wanted to have my own ‘Late Night Show’ na parang kina Jimmy Fallon and James Corden, but with my own flavor. There are gimmick cameos by Jake Cuenca as a guest meteorologist.

"I personally messaged him to send me a video and I’m thankful that he obliged. Guest ko rin si theatre actor-comedian Gary Lim for a running gag.

"For Sunday, June 21, I have a special Father's Day episode dedicated to my dad, Ronaldo Valdez.”

Since he’s a singer, of course, he has song numbers. “The main event is my Parody song.

"In this case, I changed the lyrics of the Apo song ‘Salawikain’ to incorporate some of the topics and issues that went viral during ECQ, like Tiktok, social distancing, lockdown, ABS-CBN franchise renewal and Angel Locsin na malaki ang naitulong sa mga tao.

"Socially relevant ang mensahe, but always lighthearted ang approach. I’ve been doing this kind of number since ‘SOP’ with Ogie Alcasid and ‘Nuts Entertainment’ with Joey de Leon.”

Is he aware a lot of his colleagues now have their own vlogs? “Yeah, I realize that I’m late into the Vlogging game but, ain’t I always?! Hahaha! I just want a venue for my ‘malikot na isip’ and also to represent my age bracket and generation in the mostly young millennial Youtube audience.

"I will be alternating my numbers with funny comic stuff and some serious singing in future episodes. Check it out. You can also subscribe now.”
