ALDEN RICHARDS Q&A LIVE CHAT SESSION WITH FANS A BIG HIT

ALDEN RICHARDS treated his fans to an IG Live session where he gave them an online tour of his home in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. He also showed them his pets, his collection of Ironman toys and trophies.

Later on, it turned to a Q&A and he gamely answered all the queries his fans asked of him.

We won’t be surprised if other stars would now follow him and give their fans a similar chance to talk to them directly in their social media accounts. Alden says he runs errands for his family during this lockdown, going to the store to buy provisions for their household.

But he makes it a point to be very careful, wearing a facial mask to keep himself protected and washing his hands frequently to make sure he won’t be carrying the veerus back to their home as his elderly grandpa and grandma live with them and he doesn’t want them to be infected at all.

The fans are so pleased with Alden being so accommodating and they requested him to do this live chat with him regularly. They also asked him if he’d join the TikTok craze and also do a dance or two, but he demurred, saying other stars might do it, but he feels it’s not for him.

Fans inquired if he’d resume taping his shows halted by the lockdown, like “Centerstage” and “All Out Sundays”, after the lockdown is lifted on May 15, but he says that, as of now, nothing is sure yet.

“We have to work it out muna yung mechanics kasi maraming tao ang involved sa taping at ipinagbabawal pa rin ang crowds at mass gatherings,” he adds.

How about his planned major 10th anniversary concert scheduled at the Araneta Coliseum this coming July that he has already announced before?

“Definitely, we’ll have to postpone it also for safety measures,” he said. “By that time, I’m sure bawal pa rin ang mass gatherings like big concerts. Dapat mag-ingat pa rin tayo.”

But he wants to give special thanks to our health workers and frontliners.

“They are our new heroes. Kung hindi dahil sa matapat nilang pagsisilbi sa bayan during this health crisis, siguro mas dumami pa ang infected and fatalities. They’re serving us kahit nalalagay rin ang buhay nila sa bingit ng kamatayan. Let’s support them in any way we can. Let’s also pray to the Lord para protektahan silang lagi.’’
