'KASAMA MO JESSICA SOHO' EPISODE PAYING TRIBUTE TO OUR OVERWORKED & SELFLESS MEDICAL FRONTLINERS A BIG HIT WITH VIEWERS

the multi-awarded KAPUSO MO, JESSICA SOHO

THE LAST EPISODE of the toprating and multi-awarded Sunday night show, “Kasama Mo Jessica Soho” or KMJS, was very touching as it pays tribute to our beleaguered frontliners who are selflessly serving in hospitals, clinic and health centers to combat the scourge that is the corona virus.

Jessica’s production team successfully portrayed the challenges and hardships faced by our medical workers while performing their duties in various places in Luzon at the height of this dangerous crisis that put their own lives at risk.

Many hospitals like the UST Hospital, St. Luke’s QC and BGC, Medical City, etc. have already quarantined their medical personnel who have been exposed to patients afflicted with the cursed virus.

A numnber of doctors have already perished, including Dr. Sally Gatchalian, the sister of Eat Bulaga host Ruby Rodriguez. Also actor Menggie Cobarrubias.

Let's all say a prayer for the repose of their souls and condolences to the families they left behind.

Our overworked medical frontliners are now personally asking the cooperation of the public to please just stay safe at home to prevent being infected or infecting other people.

They reminded people to follow the rules for prevention and cleanliness, foremost of which are wearing a facial mask for protection and always washing your hands to kill any organisms that you may have touched.

Lots of people watched this episode and it got a very high overnight People Audience rating of 21.1 percent in NUTAM (National Urban Television Audience Measurement) survey based on AGB Nielsen data.

Another hit segment in that episode is Jessica’s interview with Pasig City’s indefatigable and dedicated young mayor, Vico Sotto, who continues to gain admirers all over the country for his diligence and sincerity in fighting the virus and its harmful effects in Pasig.

Another well liked enlightening portion showed how to use lambanog as a choice substitute for alcohol in disinfecting your hands. For entertainment, it featured some folks doing the Tiktok challenge.

KMJS is truly a wonderful package of information and entertainment, and Jessica Soho has to thank her staff for their wonderful work every weekend, so it’s not a wonder anymore that it has become a solid viewing habit for most viewers every Sunday evening.
