JENNYLYN MERCADO & DENNIS TRILLO SING THE SONGS THAT SPEAK ABOUT THEIR OWN LOVE AFFAIR IN THEIR 'CO-LOVE' VALENTINE CONCERT ON FEBRUARY 15 AT NEW FRONTIER THEATRE

JENNYLYN MERCADO is understandbly so excited these days. Her new primetime drama, “Descendants of the Sun”, will start airing this Monday night and next weekend, she will have a very special post-Valentine concert with her inamorato, Dennis Trillo. This is the “Co-Love” concert happening at the New Frontier Theatre on Saturday, February 15.

Those who enjoyed watching them in their Co-Love vlog as they sing cover versions of hits like “Finally Found Someone”, “Never Gonna Let You Go”, “After All”, “Can’t We Try”, “Almost Paradise” and many more, would surely be delighted the see the DenJen love team sing all these memorable hits live and in person during their landmark concert.

Their fans are thrilled with this first concert of theirs together as Jen says it will reveal everything about their love story and relationship through songs.

“It’s not just like any ordinary concert,” Jen adds. “Dito nila mas maiintindihan yung mga pinagdaanan ng relationship namin, kung bakit kami nag-break noon at kung paano kami nagkabalikan na mas naging okay kami.”

Their fans are now so thrilled as there’s a rumor that the DenJen love team will have a big “pasabog” in their concert. It’s said that Dennis will be officially proposing to Jen during the show.

“Ay, wala pong ganun!” says Jen, laughing. “Pangunahan daw ba kami. Huwag nyo naman kaming i-pressure kasi hindi naman puedeng pilitin yan. Kusang darating yan, in God’s own right time. Kung aasa kayong may ganun, baka ma-disappoint kayo.

"Wala talaga, sa pagkakaalam ko ha. Unless may binabalak siya na hindi ko batid, so, manood na lang kayo. Halos sold out na raw ang mga tickets kaya make sure you na may ticket na kayo.”

About “Descendants of the Sun”, folks who’ve seen the pilot episode say it’s obvious she has a good romantic chemistry with Dingdong Dantes.

Won’t their respective real life partners, Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo, eventually get jealous as their characters, Capt. Lucas alias Big Boss and Dr. Maxine alias Doc Beauty, get more involved with each other romantically in the show?

“Sorry po, pero wala pong ganung mga selosang mangyayari,” says Jen. “Parehong very supportive sina Dennis at Marian sa amin and they really wish us na maging matagumpay ang ‘Descendants’.

"Nag-text pa nga sa akin si Marian when I got the role of Doc Beauty and she even congratulated me. Wala na pong selos-selos. Sa positive na lang po tayo, alang-alang sa show.”
