CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY WITH WIFE KAT RAMNANI, TALKS ABOUT THE REMAINING FINALISTS IN 'THE CLASH SEASON 2'

christian bautista with wife kat ramnani celebrates their first wedding anniversary

CHRISTIAN BAUTISTA and wife Kat Ramnani celebrated their first wedding anniversary on November 16. Their nuptials were held in an intimate ceremony in Bali, Indonesia. So how is it so far?

“So far, so good,” Christian says when we got to interview him on the set of “The Clash Season 2” where he is one of the judges. “We got to discover more good things about each other and everything is going well.”

So when do they intend to have a baby? “Baka this coming year. Hopefully, the Lord will bless us.”

Now that “The Clash” is nearing its finale, what can he say about the current batch of finalists that they have? What is he personally looking for in the winner?

“They’re all okay, but siempre, it’s always about the voice first and yung performance ng singer. Yun ang una naming tinitingnan.”

What happens when both clashers who are competing turn out to be so-so? “Mahirap yun, kung parehong hindi magaling, parehong nagkamali. So we talk ng two other judges, Lani Misalucha and Ai Ai de las Alas. Sino yung bibigyan namin ng another chance? May time nga, wala talaga, kahit naaawa kami, pareho pa ring natanggal yung dalawang clashers.”

There are now only 8 remaining clashers. “If you’d notice, habang pakonti sila nang pakonti, the more we get strict. And now na malapit na ang finals, talagang salang-sala na sila. Pagalingan na talaga ang labanan. Kung meron nga lang gamot na puede mong ibigay, o heto, inumin nyo ito para gumaling kayo.

"E contest ito, e, kaya kailangan, galingan nila talaga. But I always tell those who were eliminated not to lose hope. Kasi ako, hindi naman ako ang nanalo sa ‘Star in a Million’, but I’m so blessed na naririto pa rin ako.”

Last week, Jeniffer Maravilla was able to secure her spot on the Top 8 after beating Lorraine Galvez in Matira ang Matibay elimination clash. Janina Gonzales was also able to win against Sassa Dagdag, completing the Top 8 together with Aljon Gutierrez, Clark Serafin, Nef Medina, Antonette Tismo, Thea Astley, and Jeremiah Tiangco.

The big question is: what is the new challenge awaiting the 8 remaining clashers? Who will be fighting against current topnotcher, Pop Heartthrob of Imus, Jeremiah Tiangco? Will he be able to defend his seat and continue to the next level of the competition? This week, 2 more clashers will be eliminated and at the end of the Sunday episode, the Top 6 clashers will be named.

Who among Jeniffer, Janina, Aljon, Clark, Nef, Antonette, Thea, and Jeremiah will make it all the way to the Grand Finals? Who will be the last clasher standing to take home over 4 Million Pesos worth of prizes?

Tonight, the show continues its Christmas celebration with a special opening performance by the Top 7 and American Idol Season 11 Grand Finalist Jessica Sanchez as special guest!  Then the competition begins with the second half of the Top 8 battling with their renditions of their favorite Christmas songs.

Tonight’s Christmas themed Isa Laban sa Lahat will feature Antonette, Janina, Nef, and Thea!  Only three will advance to the Top 6 together with last night’s winners Aljon, Jeniffer, and Jeremiah.

Don’t miss tonight’s episode as the results will be one of the most unexpected and heartbreaking.  Even the Clash judges were affected and Ai Ai was crying after the competition!
