MAYMAY ENTRATA is happy to be chosen as the co-host of Khalil Ramos in Knowledge Channel’s educational series, “Puno ng Buhay”, designed for grades 4 & 5 students to help them know more about Philippine trees and forests. This will start airing in October, Monday and Sunday at 3:30 PM.

“I come from Bukidnon at sobrang saya ko nang umuwi kami sa province ko to feature its forests in the show,” she says. “Maganda ang message ng show on how to take good care of our environment. Ako mismo, maraming natututuhan dito. Dito ko lang nalaman na flowers pala have gender. I’m really honored na kinuha nila ko to be a host in ‘Puno ng Buhay’. Kids today are really lucky that they have the Knowledge Channel for them to learn a lot of things from. E nung bata ako, hindi umaabot sa’min ang Knowledge Channel.”

How is it working with Khalil? “He’s so nice to work with kasi sobrang talino niya. He helps me sa hosting, lalo na sa right pronunciation ng maraming English words.”

Maymay’s career is really blooming, especially after her exposure in the blockbuster hit “Hello Love Goodbye” as Kathryn Bernardo’s cousin. She’s now all set to hold her first concert with ka-love team Edward Barber on September 27 at the New Frontier. She has also auditioned in the New York Fashion to try cultivating her international modeling career.

Maymay’s show is not the only one being introduced by the Knowledge Channel as they celebrate their 20th anniversary with more new programs. There’s also “Wikaharian” hosted by Michelle Agas and puppets Buboy, Billy, Chichay and Chito; “Knowledge on the Go!” hosted Marlo Mortel, “Wow”, “Art Smart”, “Science Says”, “Kwentoons”.

The college documentary competition also goes on its 3rd year, “Class Project”, in partnership with ABS-CBN and the Philippine Association of Communication Educators or PACE. They can be accessed online via knowledgechannel.org and in the various media platforms of ABS-CBN.
