For everyone’s information, in between 2004 and 2018, Dennis won various other awards, like the Star best actor award for “Felix Manalo” in 2016, the Golden Screen best supporting actor awards in 2006 for “Blue Moon” and in 2010 for “Mano Po 6: A Mother’s Love”, and for his work on television, he won several best actor awards from various award giving bodies for his role in “My Husband’s Lover” in 2014.
Dennis was not able to attend the MMFF Awards Night as he was sick with the flu and it was his manager, Popoy Caritativo, who went upstage to receive his trophy for him. But he later wrote a thank you message in his social media account, with special mention to his ladylove, Jennylyn Mercado.
He thanked Regal and Mother Lily for their trust in him and added: “Taos puso din ang aking pasasalamat kay Miss Kim Chiu, JC de Vera, Marlo Mortel, at Miles Ocampo, my co-stars na lahat ay magagaling at seryoso sa trabaho.
