Rhian Ramos In Three New Movies, Not In A Hurry To Have A New Boyfriend After Breakup With The Last One

RHIAN RAMOS has yet to have a new TV soap after “The One That Got Away” but she doesn’t really mind since she’s currently in the cast of three new movies. She’s the leading lady of Jolo Revilla in the “72 Hours” episode of the action trilogy of Imus Productions, “Tres”. She is also paired with newcomer Ian Ignacio in the martial arts flick, “The Trigonal: Fight for Justice”, which was shot totally in Bacolod with Monsour del Rosario. And she’s also doing a new romantic comedy with JM de Guzman, “Kung Paano Siya Nawala”, for Tuko Productions, Buchi Boy and Articulo Uno or TBA.

“I enjoyed my role as a female cop in ‘72 Hours’ of ‘Tres,” she says. “Nag-action ako rito kasi we’re assigned ni Jolo Revilla to arrest a notorious drug lord played by Albert Martinez. Maraming shootouts, fight scenes. Sobrang dami ng pasabugan dito na pagdating mo pa lang sa set, makakaamoy ka na agad ng gun powder, but kahit mahirap, I enjoyed shooting our film. Jolo himself taught me how to shoot. He’s so nice to work with. Maasikaso sa lahat. Laging masarap ang pagkain namin sa set and he always makes sure I’m comfortable. He’s such a fine gentleman.”

She’s currently being linked to Jolo and also to Andre Paras, but she says she’s not yet ready to get into another relationship after breaking up with her last one, racer Jason Choachuy, with whom she was on for three and a half years.

“I’m not even dating anyone right now,” she says. “I’m just getting to know myself again after I got out of my last relationship. It’s an emotional thing you go through.”

Why did they break up? “I just want to make it clear that there’s nothing wrong with him. He’s a wonderful guy and I still do love him, but there’s a lot that’s going on in my life now, so many changes that I can’t reveal to the public yet, and I feel I have to focus on myself first. I feel I need to grow more so I can be better not only for myself but also other people. Let’s just say it’s growing pains. So now, I’m so busy with work. Aside from the movies I’m doing, I still host the lifestyle show, ‘Taste Buddies’ and I’m really okay by myself, for now.”
