Julia Barretto & Joshua Garcia Both Say That It's Possible For Anyone To Love And Hate A Person At The Same Time

JULIA BARRETTO says at the presscon of her movie, “I Love You, Hater”, that it’s possible for you to love and hate a person at the same time. ‘‘When you love a person kasi, the little things they do that upset you, it will affect you. Then you think you hate him but actually, you still love him. So tama namang sabihin na the more you hate, the more you love. It’s the only kind of hate that you can tolerate when you love a person.’’

Joshua was bashed by fans of their love team for flirting with a fan on line and he has apologized to Julia for this. “I’m sorry for my mistake, but I promise to be a better man for you and for us,” he adds.

So who’s the last person they hated but is still in love with? “Ako, yung sarili ko, myself. Yung sarili ko, recently. Kasi may mga nagawa nga akong decision na mali. Pero siempre, sarili mo pa rin yun, so kailangan mo pa ring mahalin.”

Julia also points to Joshua. “Yes, he’s the last person I hated and loved at the same time. But there are really some decisions that the person you love makes, have made or will make, but at the end of the day, nangunguna pa rin talaga yung love mo for the person. So, you may hate what he’s doing but it can never overcome the love that you have for the person.”

So when will they admit that they’re officially on? Joshua replies: “Hindi ko pa masabi… sa tamang panahon.”

And Julia adds: “I feel like he takes good care of me really, really well. He’s very, very protective of me. I think all that he is, is enough for me. I think there’s nothing more I could ask for.”

In the movie, Joshua pretends to be a bading so that Kris Aquino will accept him as her assistant and he said he went through a rollercoaster ride of emotion. “Mahirap kasi yung nagpapanggap ka. It’s really a struggle. I told our director, Giselle Andres, mahirap palang mag-pretend kasi yung emotions mo, taas-baba, taas-baba. I got a lot help from the gay make up artists on the set on how to be believable in my role. But it’s all worth it kasi magaganda namang lumabas yung mga eksena ko with Julia and Miss Kris na supposedly ay bading nga ako.”
