The Very Talented Broadway Boys Currently Making Waves Every Saturday, Will Duet With Aiza Seguerra In Her 'Eat Bulaga' Comeback On February 10

CURRENTLY MAKING WAVES in “Eat Bulaga” is the all male quartet called Broadway Boys who really sing so well and can do all kinds of songs, even those that became hit years before they were born. They’re called Broadway Boys because the group was born in the studio of “Eat Bulaga” in Broadway Centrum. They first won in the longest running noontime show’s Lola’s Playlist Singing Contest where they did their interpretations of the songs of veteran foreign crooners like Nat King Cole and Matt Monroe and local icons like Basil Valdez and Nonoy Zuniga.

Francis Aglabtin won in the contest but his runners up then joined him to form Broadway Boys: Joshua Torina, Joshua Lumbao and Benedict Aboyme. They sing live every Saturday and are made to do duets with local music legends while singing songs from various genres. To put it simply, they’re just amazing!

They’ve performed with local singers like Lani Misalucha, Kuh Ledesma, Bituin Escalante, Ima Castro, Frenchie Dy and Lolita Carbon of Aegis, as well as foreign singers like John Ford Coley (best known for “It’s Sad to Belong to Someone Else” and “Just Tell Me You Love Me”).

Now, they’ve cut their first single, “Nag-iisa”, an original composition of Sen. Tito Sotto who said it’s best for them to sing an inspirational song rather than a love ballad since they’re very young. The Broadway Boys now have their own loyal fans and we’re not going to be surprised if they’d come up with their own full album soon.
