Maja Salvador Back Doing Concerts With 'Maja Live In Cebu' On February 4 As 'Wildflower' Ends Soon

MAJA SALVADOR is back in the concert scene this 2018, starting with “Maja on Stage, Live in Cebu” at the IEC Convention in Cebu this coming February 4. Her guests are “Wildflower” co-stars Joseph Marco and Vin Abrenica, plus Cacai Bautista and Anna Fegi. Then, she takes it on tour at the The Big Box East Jurong, Singapore on February 18, 2018. She returns to local grounds with “Maja On Stage” at the KIA Theater on March 23. She’ll also take this later to the U.S. in Las Vegas and Oklahoma.

Maja has established her being a first rate actress on the big screen with her much acclaimed performance this year in “I’m Drunk, I love You” and on TV, with her hit drama series, “Wildflower”. But she’s a total performer who can sing and dance expertly on stage so she’s now happy that she’s given the chance to do this again “Maja on Tour”.

“When they told me their plans about a concert, I got excited kasi buong 2017, I focused on being an actress dahil na-extend nang na-extend ang ‘Wildflower’ at pahirap nang pahirap ang mga ginagawa ko,” she says. “Ngayon nga, naging action na siya at may stunt pa akong sumampa ako in a moving helicopter. So I’m so happy that this 2018, I get to perform again on stage, which is something I really love to do.”

The upcoming concert is set to be Maja’s fourth major show in her career, after “Maj: The Legal Performer” (2014), “Majasty” (2015) and “Only Maja” (2016). “Forever love ko ang mag-perform kaya kahit nagkahiwalay man kami nung 2017, forever ko siyang babalik-balikan. Abangan nyo dahil marami akong gagawing pasabog and surprises in my 2018 concerts. Sa Cebu, I’m glad Joseph and Vin agreed sa concept ng numbers nila with me. Tiyak na maraming kikiligin dahil may pa-abs sila diyan.”

After her jaw-dropping and viral performances on “ASAP”, the Dance Princess is all set to make her newest concert tour an explosive and bombastic one. “Siyempre, it will not be just a repeat of my concerts in MOA and Music Museum, kasi syempre we want to offer something new naman lagi. So, magiging ibang-iba yung atake sa music, sa sayaw, sa costumes. Buwis buhay ang ibang numbers ko dito and I promise not to disappoint the audience.”

Quite interestingly, their first show in Cebu is set to be special because it would involve a good collaboration between her and her team. “Dito sa first show, parang wala kaming director, so kami-kami lang. Parang kung ano yung concept nung ng choreographers ko, ganon. Parang nag-usap-usap kami and I’m very proud sa kung ano yung nabuo naming numbers para sa show.”

After the concert, she’ll start to shoot a new movie with Star Cinema opposite with Zanjoe Marudo. About her lovelife, she confesses that she has a non-showbiz suitor. “I’m so busy pero may cellphone naman, text-text, bisi-bisita, basta ba masugid, sige, i-push natin yan. Ganun na lang muna.”
