Alexander Lee Doesn't Feel Insecure With The Inclusion Of Andy Ryu In 'My Korean Jagiya' As His Rival Over Heart Evangelista

ALEXANDER LEE says he doesn’t at all feel bad that another Korean actor was hired by GMA-7 to be his rival over Heart Evangelista in “My Korean Jagiya”. “I think Andy’s inclusion in the show made the story more intriguing for the viewers so we all welcome his being part of the show,” he says. “We just know each other casually in Korea, but now that we’re working together here in Manila, we became good friends fast.”

His local fans seem to really care for him as they even noticed that he looks so thin lately and advised him in social media to eat some more. “I really appreciate their concern,” he smiles. “Filipino fans are all very caring and they’re not afraid of expressing what they feel.”

He says being to be able to work in Manila and with Heart as his leading lady is truly a big blessing. “When I first learned that we’ll work together, I researched on her and for me, she’s like a Disney Princess. When I met her in person, I was even more impressed because she’s so kind and warm. When we had a kissing scene, I couldn’t believe it, that I’m kissing a superstar. My whole experience of doing ‘My Korean Jagiya’ will be unforgettable for me for the rest of my life.”
