The Beautiful Lolas Of 'Eat Bulaga' Now Star In Their Own Movie, The Horror Comedy 'Trip Ubusan, Lolas Vs Zombies'

THE BEAUTIFUL LOLAS who gained their own loyal following from the hit Kalyeserye of “Eat Bulaga” now have their own movie, “Trip Ubusan, Lolas vs. Zombies”, which was obviously inspired by the Korean zombie movie, “Train to Busan”, which is a big hit worldwide.

From start to finish, maraming mga eksenang mae-entertain and audience dito.”

Paolo Ballesteros, who plays Lola Tidora, is so busy as he also has a film to open the following week, “Barbi, D’Wonder Beki”. “Sobrang nakakapagod maglagari kasi aside from these two movies, meron akong isa pang movie sa Viva, ‘Amnesia Love’, with Yam Concepcion,” he says. “Then we all know meron kaming ‘The Beautiful Lolas’ talk show every morning at ‘All for Juan’ pa sa ‘Eat Bulaga’ every afternoon naman. Kaya talagang lagari ako from one set to another. Shooting dito, taping doon, and I do all my make up at wala akong driver so I drive my own car to and from each set, kaya pinaghihirapan ko sila talagang lahat.”

He has really experienced sleep deprivation these past couple of months. May nagtatanong nga kundi ako afraid of overexposure. Sabi nga, make hay na lang while the sun shines.

In “Trip Ubusan”, which is a road trip movie, the Lolas are inside a big bus in the countryside when they encounter an attack of zombies. With them in the cast are Ryzza Mae Dizon, Angelika de la Cruz, Arthur Solinap, and “Trops” young stars Taki Saito, Kenneth Medrano, Miggy Tolentino, plus Lovely Abella and former TV 5 star Shaira Mae de la Cruz.
