Pretty Kapuso Teen Star Lindsay De Vera Reprises Her Role As Dingdong Dantes' Sister In 'Alyas Robin Hood, Book 2', And As Love Interest Of Dave Bornea

PRETTY KAPUSO TEEN STAR LINDSAY DE VERA is thankful that she’ll be back in Book 2 of “Alyas Robin Hood”, where she plays the younger sister of title-roler Dingdong Dantes, with Jaclyn Jose as their mother. “That was the biggest show na nasalihan ko at nagmarka talaga sa tao so I’m happy na babalik kami sa ere,” she says. “Hindi ko makakalimutan yon kasi napakabait ni Tita Jaclyn as my mom, ang dami niyang advice sa akin and I learned so much from her about acting.”

Born on January 26, 2000, she has a Pinay mom and a British dad. Her real name is Lindt Johnston and de Vera is her mom’s maiden name. They lived for four years in Japan when her dad was based there and she has two older brothers who are more Caucasian looking than her. Her dad is now working in Singapore while she stays with her mom and brothers in Manaoag, Pangasinan, where her mom hails from.

She started as a TV commercial model, then she was discovered by GMA-7 who got her as a child actress. “I was 8 years old then at isinama ako sa kiddie shows like ‘Jollitown’, ‘Jillian Namamasko Po’ and ‘Futbolilits’. As a teenager, isinama ako kay Kuya Dingdong Dantes in ‘Pari Koy’ when I was 15 and also ‘Cielo de Angelina’, then ‘Alyas Robin Hood’ na nga po.”

She was paired with Dave Bornea in “Alyas Robin Hood” and their love team will continue in Book 2. Is Dave really courting her off cam? “Ay hindi po. Alam naman niya 17 lang ako. Nag-usap kami na we’ll both focus muna on our careers. Pero mabait po si Dave. Nagkakasundo kami.”
