Patricia Javier Enjoys Playing Sanya Lopez' Mom In 'Haplos' Since She Has No Daughter In Real Life

AFTER DOING ‘Doble Kara’ on ABS-CBN, former sexy star Patricia Javier, of “Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero” fame, is now with the Kapuso network. She plays the role of Sanya Lopez’ mother in the new afternoon soap that starts airing on Monday, “Haplos”.

Doesn’t she mind playing mother roles when she has remained so fit and sexy through the years? “Okay lang,” she says. “In real life, mother na naman talaga ako as I have two sons. And I’m happy to be her mom kasi wala akong anak na babae.

What can she say to some writeups saying she’s now her family’s breadwinner after they moved from San Diego, California to live here in Manila? “Hindi naman totoo yan. My husband (Dr. Robert Walcher) is a chiropractor and he now has his own clinic in Quezon City na ang dami na ring pasyente. He’s a good provider. Yung pag-aartista ko naman, hindi regular. Mutual decision namin to try living here and we don’t regret it kasi mas masaya ang buhay namin dito. And I’m so happy that our sons are now studying here in Manila and learning good Filipino values, like showing respect for elders na nagmamano sila sa matatanda and they now know how to say po and opo.”
