Julianella Love Team Of Julian Trono & Ella Cruz Started Shooting Their Launching Film, 'Fanboy/Fangirl', Last Monday

THE NEW love team being built up by Viva, Julian Trono and Ella Cruz, started shooting their launching movie, “Fanboy/Fangirl”, last Monday. It’s handled by the production group of Director Joyce Bernal, who also handled "Luck at First Sight". They are now being compared to James Reid and Nadine Lustre but they’d rather not be compared at all with JaDine or any other existing love team.

“Malayo na ang narating nila and we’re just starting as a love team,” says Julian. “Iba sila, iba rin kami. They have their way of doing things and we have our own style naman. We want to make it on our own as JulianElla.”

“I guess hindi maiiwasan ang ganoong comparison with Jadine kasi pare-pareho kaming talents ng Viva,” says Ella. “But kami ni Julian, we’re really trying and doing our best para mahalin kami ng publiko on our own. I guess isang edge namin ni Julian, nagsimula kami as child stars at nagkakilala kami when we were still kids sa children’s show na ‘Tropang Potchi’ ng GMA, so mas matagal na ang pinagsamahan at friendship namin.”

Their song as a duet, “Tumalon”, is now receiving a lot of airplay on radio. As the Teen Dance Princess, Ella also has her own single, “Tamis”, while Julian, as the Teen Dance King, also has his own single, “Balang Araw”.
