A FEW DAYS ago, there was news that Lovi Poe died and it quickly spread in social media, causing concern among her fans. But this is one of those hoaxes about celebrity deaths cooked up by internet trolls who have nothing better to do. "Last I checked, buhay pa naman ako," Lovi says laughing. "Ang dami kong bagong trabaho, may new movie and may new TV show."

Her new movie is with Regal Entertainment, a romcom titled "Woke Up Like This", which will reunite her with comedian Vhong Navarro with whom she was first paired in an episode of "Shake Rattle & Roll 16" directed by Vhong's manager, Chito Rono. "Woke Up Like This" also stars comedians Joey Marquez and Bayani Agbayani. Her new TV show is "Mulawin vs. Ravena" where she's part of a huge cast that includes Dennis Trillo, Tom Rodriguez, Heart Evangelista, Carla Abellana and many more.

With regard to her love life, it's common knowledge she's now cozy with her foreigner beau named Chris Johnson. Recently, she was able to talk at length with her ex-BF Rocco Nacino. It's been a year since they parted ways but it's only now they had a proper closure. They met at a get together of their colleagues in their former show, "Beautiful Strangers", and had a heart-to-heart talk that lasted until the wee hours of the morning.
