LJ Reyes Currently In 'Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa' But Will Also Be In The Cast Of Another Afternoon Soap, 'D Originals' By Adolf Alix

LJ REYES plays the very important role of Angeli in “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa” that just started airing three weeks ago on GMA’s Afternoon Prime. She’s one of the leads there along with Julie Anne San Jose, Benjamin Alves and Martin del Rosario. But what’s this we hear that she will also star in yet another afternoon soap to be produced by GMA News and Public Affairs?

The new show is said to be titled “D Originals” and her co-stars are Cannes Filmfest best actress Jaclyn Jose, new sexpot Kim Domingo, Jestoni Alarcon, Marco Morales and Katrina Halili, who also hails from Starstruck like her. This will be the first GMA daily soap to be directed by Adolf Alix. We just don’t know if it will overlap in its telecast with “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa” or it will start airing after “Pinulot” has ended.

But right now, the story of “Pinulot” is just getting to be more interesting. LJ as Angeli has succeeded in driving Julie Anne San Jose as Santina away from the house of their benefactor, Jean Garcia as Diony. She tries working as a vendor in the market but the husband of her boss tries to rape her. Jean as Diony rescues her and takes her back to her home. As expected, LJ is angered by this turn of events, especially after Benjamin Alves defends Julie Anne from her cruelty. She continues to plot against Santina.
