Ara Mina Vs. GMA-7 Management: All's Well That Ends Well

ALL’S WELL that ends well for Ara Mina and GMA-7 management. They’ve buried the hatchet and not on each other’s backs. It’ll be recalled that Ara recently posted her personal complaint on social media. It apparently refers to the delay in the airing of the show she’s doing with them, “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa”. GMA management had a talk with her and things were ironed out, but GMA requested that Ara issues an apology. And this she did in her social media account a few days ago.

 "Last January 6, 2017, nag-post ako both on Instagram and Facebook na gusto ko nang mag-quit sa isang project. The said post called the attention of the prod staff of Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa and the bosses of GMA-7.

"Nagkausap na kami ng mga boss at nagkalinawagan na rin. May mga concerns lang talaga ako that needed to be ironed out. However, I also want to apologize for my action of posting my emotions on social media. Alam ko madami sa inyo ang na-bother at nag-worry and I truly appreciate your support. Everything's okay now.

"Thanks to the bosses of GMA-7 for understanding me. Peace to all."

The show finally started airing last Monday and Ara plays a good role as the foil of Jean Garcia and the negligent mother of LJ Reyes. Their director, Gina Alajar, speaks highly of Ara as a very good actress and she really wished that things will be settled well between Ara and GMA. Her wish has been granted. Ara obviously felt dissatisfied by the delayed airing of the show since she can’t accept other assignments, but she did get to do a movie with Star Cinema, “My Ex and Why’s”, with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil that will be shown starting February 15.
