Someone observes that the PEP editors seem very partial to gays and lesbians. Glaiza won as best actress for her role as a lesbian in “Rich Man’s Daughter”, Cherry Pie won as best supporting actress also for her lesbian role in “On the Wings of Love” and Ken Chan won as best actor for his transwoman role in “Destiny’s Child”. “On the Wings of Love” also won as best primetime series and “Destiny Rose” as best daytime series. A naughty writer quips: “Baka may tie up sila sa LGBT community.”
Another writer says: “At mas maraming winners na Kapuso kaysa Kapamilya huh!”
