Right now, he’s very much into skydiving, an extreme sport that gives him a different kind of high. He has put up his own business for this, Skydive Greater Vigan, which is now attracting a lot of local and foreign tourists. One of his recent guests was former Hollywood action star Steven Seagal.
But of course, his main bread and butter remains to be acting, especially now that he’s part of the hit GMA afternoon series, “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli”, where he plays the husband of Angelika de la Cruz as Evelyn and dad of their missing daughter, Bea Binene. He has found that Angelika has found their long lost daughter and he’s surprised that she didn’t even inform him about it. He doesn’t know that the girl with Angelika is not really their own child but Kim Rodriguez as Claire, who she adopted.
While Kim is holding a party, Derrick Monasterio as Calvin arrives with Bea as Ana at the party. Kim is so mad at Bea for disrupting her party and kicks Bea who runs away and finally meets Angelika not knowing she’s her birth mother. Derrick tells Angelika, his godmother, how he found Bea in the forest. Angelika realizes Bea is a feral child and should be subjected to physical examination to determine her health condition. She decides to also adopt Bea and make her a more civilized and normal human being. With all her tender loving care, Bea calls her mama. Kim gets terribly jealous with all the attention that Angelika and Derrick are giving to Bea.
