Their detractors who bash them and say they’re on the way out because of “umay” factor are most certainly put to shame. The AlDub fever remains very very hot. And this is very much in evidence when they were launched at Trinoma Activity Center as the newest Bench endorsers. The whole place was packed to the rafters and when Maine, then Alden, appeared, the shrieking and screaming can be quite deafening.
Some fans say they even come from the provinces like Bulacan, Pampanga, Laguna and just came to Manila to see their idols live. They were already at Trinoma as early as 7 AM. They were well rewarded since the AlDub love team did spectacular dance and dubsmash numbers (some inspired by the musical “Grease”) with some 20 dancers who all gave spirited performances bursting with so much energy. Some fans were also called on stage to play games with Alden and they got Bench products as prizes.
Maine is endorsing her celebrity scents: Maine Girl, Maine Love and Maine Forever Body Sprays for P128 each and A Dab of Love Eau de Toilette for P248. All the stocks were sold out in less than 15 minutes after they hit the shelves. Alden is endorsing Bench Fix Salon and the Professional Styling Tool called Clay doh Lite for easy to style hair that comes in 25g for P50 and 80g variants for P180. Both Alden and Maine say they’re very happy to be part of the Bench family and they consider it an honor to be plugging Bench products. Alden then announced that they will start shooting their solo movie and it will be their special gift for their fans and supporters when they celebrate their first anniversary as a love team this coming July.
