Andre Paras And Yassi Pressman Feel Tense About Their Launching Movie, 'Girlfriend For Hire', But Confident Viewers Will Love It

ANDRE PARAS and Yassi Pressman both feel tense as the launching movie of their loveteam, “Girlfriend for Hire”, opens today in theaters nationwide. “Siempre, nakakakaba dahil test case ito for us,” says Andre. “But I’m confident that we already have a captive audience. A total of 68 million readers have seen this on Wattpad and if even just half a them would watch the movie, that’s enough to make our film a hit.”

“We’re very proud of the movies as we both did our best in it,” adds Yassi. “Our director, Vanessa de Leon, made sure malakas ang kilig factor. And we’re positive na viewers will like it as many who’ve seen the movie say na they can feel the good chemistry Andre and I have on the big screen.”

But how are they in real life? “We’re very close friends,” says Andre. “Enjoy kami pareho to make pasyal and eat out. We’re enjoying each other’s company.”

In the story of this youthful romcom, Andre plays a young man who’s being pressured by his very rich grandpa (Ronaldo Valdez) to have a girlfriend. Yassi is a girl from a poor family and at first, she and Andre are continually fighting, until Andre proposes to her to pretend being his girlfriend in front of his grandpa and they become slowly closer to one another. Now, isn’t that a very original story that has never been tried before?
