This all-new and bigger presentation titled “The Best of Our Love – The Greatest Hits Reunion” will star Basil Valdez, Hajji Alejandro, Eugene Villaluz, Ray An Fuentes, Ding Mercado, Louie Reyes, Pat Castillo, Jacqui Magno, Tillie Moreno and Ali Sotto, who all got better as they mature like expensive wine.
The New Minstrels and the Circus Band are two legendary show bands that dominated the local entertainment circuit in the ‘70s. Many members of these groups later made it big as solo acts and these are the stellar names that make these “Greatest Hits Reunion” concerts an unprecedented success.
Hajji, Tillie, Pat, Jacqui and Basil were with the Circus Band while Louie, Ding, Joey, Ray-An and Eugene were with the New Minstrels. Ali Sotto is not a member of neither group but she gained fame then as singer Aloha. “Best of Our Love” marks her return to the concert scene.
Prepare for an evening of R&B, disco, rock, funk, romantic ballads and other great sounds from the ‘70s in grand production numbers.
