BG Productions' 'Child Haus' Wins Best Children Film Award In Dhaka International Filmfest

BG PRODUCTIONS is relatively new in moviemaking but they’ve already won some awards, like the movie “Asintado” which won two international best actress awards for Aiko Melendez. The latest prize they got is for the movie, “Child Haus”, about children battling the big C directed by Louie Ignacio, who also helmed “Asintado”. “Child Haus” won the Best Children Film Badal Rahman Award in the Children’s Film Section of the 14th Dhaka International Film Festival.

The award was given during the closing ceremonies held last Friday, Jan. 22 at the National Museum Auditorium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Nine other films competed in the same category: Five from Iran, one each from Denmark, India, Turkey and France/Belgium. On hand to personally receive the trophy and certificate of recognition were real estate broker Baby Go (the executive producer), and producers Dennis Evangelista, Romeo Lindain and Ferdinand Dizon Lapuz. “Child Haus” stars Katrina Halili, Leni Santos, Christopher Roxas, Ina Feleo, Mailes Kanapi; and GMA Artist Center child stars Miggs Cuaderno, Therese Malvar, Vince Magbanua, Felixia Dizon (daughter of award-winning actor Allen Dizon), Erika Yu and Mona Louise Rey. Congratulations to the whole “Child Haus” team!
