ANDRE PARAS is unique among our young actors today as he is the only one with two ka-love teams. On TV, he is paired with Barbie Forteza in “That’s My Amboy”, their followup to the hit soap “The Half Sisters”. It had its presscon on Thursday night. On the big screen, he is paired with Yassi Pressman in the Viva Valentine presentation, “Girlfriend for Hire”, their third team up after “Diary ng Panget” and the megahit “Wang Fam”. Its presscon was held on Friday noon. So which one does he prefer to be his permanent partner: Barbie or Yassi? “Magkaiba naman sila,” he says. “Kasi nga, si Barbie, sa TV, and si Yassi naman sa movie. Kami ni Barbie, two years na kaming magkasama because of ‘The Half Sisters’ and I’m really thankful to her kasi she accepted me to be her leading man kahit bagong-bago lang ako that time. She really guided me in our scenes together and she’s really good at what she does as a drama actress. Si Yassi naman, nakapareha ko sa movies and we’re doing mostly comedy. I’m happy with both of them na sila ang mga nakatrabaho ko. Masaya sila pareho sa set and I’m just thankful that our fans are understanding. So far, wala namang namba-bash sa akin for having two love teams. Walang nagsasabing, mas bagay kayo ni ganito o ni ganyan. Basta tanggap ng tao kahit sino ang kapareha ko. What they tell me is that they’re just happy I have a new TV show and I have a new movie. So yung fans namin ni Barbie, they should watch ‘That’s My Amboy’ that’s showing na this Monday after ‘Little Nanay’. Ang fans namin ni Yassi can watch ‘Girlfriend For Hire’ when it opens in theaters as a Valentine presentation on February 10.”
