“Parang equivalent ng demonyo ang role ko dahil tinutukso ko silang magkasala and, in return, may kukunin ako sa kanila,” he says. “Our director, Randolph Longjas, used prosthetic make up on me para maging mas convincing ako sa role. And not only that, iba-iba ang atake ng acting ko while trying to convince each of the characters to get an item from me.”
Direk Randolph says the role was first offered to another actor who begged off. “We’re glad si TJ ang nakuha namin kasi he turned out to be perfect for the role, which is very important in the story kasi he’s the one who links all the characters. Kuhang-kuha niya lahat ng requirement sa role ni Santi. Pam-best supporting actor siya as Santi in ‘Buy Now Die Later’.”
TJ is also in the rom-com starring Glaiza de Castro, “Sleepless”. On TV, he’s never without an assignment on GMA-7, doing one soap after another like “Borrowed Wife”, “Strawberry Lane”, “The Rich Man’s Daughter” and “Princess in the Palace”. “Suking-suki rin ako sa ‘Magpakailanman’,” he says. “I just appeared in the episode last Saturday, ‘Binihag na Kasambahay’, with Kim Rodriguez.”
