    The Marcoses Are Special Guests At The Launch Of Destileria Limtuaco's Newest Products: Vigan Wine, Dragon Fruit Wine And Imeldifique

    DESTILERIA LIMTUACO & Co. launched their newest products like Vigan Sugarcane Wine or Basi, the Dragon Fire Fruit Wine made from dragon fruit, and the Imeldifique Cooking Wine. These are all products made from the Ilocos so the venue was Victorino’s, best home of Ilocano dishes. The special guests were Rep. Imelda Marcos, Gov. Imee Marcos and Sen. Bongbong Marcos.

    Sen. Bongbong treated one and all to a sample of his culinary skills as he stir-fried beef that had been marinated with "Imeldifique”, the first Ilocano cooking wine. Watching Senator Marcos whip up his dish are Destileria Limtuaco & Co., Inc.’s President, Olivia Limpe-Aw, Heny Sison and Ilocos Sur Vice Governor Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano. Also present at the launch were former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson and actress Dina Bonnevie who’s the wife of the Ilocos Sur vice governor.


    Destilleria Limtuaco was established in 1852 and is the oldest destillery in the country. Their new products Vigan Basi, Dragon Fruit Wine and Imeldifique are now available at Unimart, Cash & Carry, Landmark, Robinson’s, Rustans, Shopwise, SM Kultura and Tesoro’s Wines.
