Tom Rodriguez & Carla Abellana Continue To Be Very Evasive About The Real Score Between Them

WHILE BANGS IS very open about her lovelife, the same cannot be said about the lead stars of "No Boyfriend Since Birth", Carla and Tom. They both say they're both very special to each other, they don't see anyone else, but they don't want to put a definite label yet on their relationship. "What you see is what you get," Tom says. "She's very special and I wouldn't waste my time on her if she's not."

As for Carla, she says it's not yet the right time for them to admit anything. "Wala pa ang tamang panahon para sa amin," she declares. "We don't want to rush things. Lahat naman ng bagay, may tamang panahon. We both believe in perfect timing na galing kay Lord, so dapat talaga, in God's time. Basta kapag dumating ang tamang panahong yun, I will be ready."

Some folks say they're really on, they just don't want to admit it yet. Carla was last linked to Geoff Eigenmann while Tom's last GF was K-la Rivera, his leading lady in the theatre musical, "Aladdin". Other writers say it's obvious that Carla is about ready to admit it, but Tom is not. Honestly, the way we size it up, they're not really on yet. They're just leading us on for the sake of movie promo, since it's so easy to admit if they're actually in a relationship by now.

Between the two, we can feel it's Tom who's not yet ready to be serious. Maybe he feels his career is not yet that established yet. But here's hoping that their movie, "No Boyfriend Since Birth", will be an even bigger hit than their first team up in "So It's You". In the story, Carla plays a girl who has never had a boyfriend in her entire life as she is waiting for the little boy she met and fell in love when she was still a child, not knowing it's actually Tom who she meets later again when they're both grown ups and didn't recognize right away.

On TV, Tom is now busy playing Sergio opposite Megan Young in the hit remake of "Marimar" while Carla will soon start taping in a new drama opposite Gabby Concepcion, tentatively titled "Madrasta", where they will be supported by Celia Rodriguez and Yia Villania.
