Presenting The Top Anchors Of Hosts & Their Shows In Bloomberg TV Philippines

HERE ARE the various shows seen on Bloomberg TV Philippines. Shawn Yao anchors “Top 5”, seen weekdays at 10 AM, 2 PM, 4 PM & 5:30 PM, offering newsbreaks of the top 5 most important stories at the top of each hour.

“First Up Philippines” is shown weekdays at 7 to 8 AM, hosted by JP Ong, Jean de Castro and Regina Hing Lay. This is a morning newscast for a broad audience especially those who want news that can impact their business, investments and policy making decisions. News items are interspersed with market-moving political stories, both foreign and local. It has various segments like “While You Were Sleeping”, “Asia Ahead”, “Pundits” and “Cocktales”, a lifestyle-business gossip segment by journalist Vic Agustin.

“In the Loop” - 12:30 noon to 1 PM weekdays - hosted by Quintin Pastrana and Shawn Yao, this is a newscast that connects you with the day’s business and political events in the country and Asia then loops you into new business developments in Europe and Asia. Its segments include Stock Picks, Stock Tips about the stock market, Watchlist (about events that may have an impact on the economy), Business Casual (business for beginners) and Balikyaman (for OFWs).

“Starting Gate” - weekdays before the opening of the stock market bell. Hosted by JP and Regina, it gives information about the latest you want to know about stocks.

“Thought Leaders” - Weeknights at 9 to 9:30 PM - Hosted by Quintin who has one-on-one interviews with business and civic leaders who share their own experiences that can benefit viewers.

“The Insight” - Tuesdays, 9 PM, hosted by Rod Nepomuceno and is about marketing. He tries to explain how and why people buy a product, idea or brand.

“Political Capital” - Wednesday, 9 PM, hosted by lawyer Tony Abad. A discussion with 2 or 3 guests about politics, governance, public police and the economy showing different perspectives.

“Bright Ideas” - Thursday, 9 PM, hosted by Mike Alimurung. A talk show for entrepreneurs and start ups and what drives them these days.
