Pokwang Admits Feeling Hurt When Some Folks Accused Her Of Being A Sugar Mommy To Her American BF Lee O'Brian

POKWANG says she felt hurt when some folks insinuated that she is a sugar mommy to her American BF and live in partner Lee O'Brian. "That's quite unfair, for me and also for him," she says at the presscon of her new movie, "Wang Fam".

Pokwang has formed a love team with Benjie Paras that was first seen when they played a married couple on TV in "Nathaniel". Now, they've branched out to the big screen in "Wang Fam" as the head of a group of vampires called the Wang Family. Pokwang is known as Malou Wang while Benjie is Boo Wang. "Mag-ingat ang mga Kathniel, Jadine at pati Chardawn kasi kaya naming silang kabugin, ano?" she laughs.

The horror-comedy is directed by Wenn Deramas who first cooked up the project in 2008 after he heard comedian Joey Paras saying na "si Pokwang, mukhang aswang." Pokie admits she cried because of that remark but Direk Wenn told her: "Naku, gawin na lang nating katatawanan, wag ka ng umiyak. Pagkakitaan na lang natin. Gawin nating movie na Aswang Family, which eventually became Wang Fam.

Also starring "Wang Fam" are Wendell Ramos, Joey Paras, Andre Paras, Yassi Pressman, Alonzo Muhlach, Atak and Abby Bautista. It opens in theatres on November 18.
