Ritz Azul According To Direk Mark Meily: 'Sexy Pero Hindi Malaswa'

AFTER DOING mostly dramas, Ritz Azul is happy to be part of the new TV5 Sunday sitcom, “Misterless Misis”. How did she feel when its director, Mark Meily,said that they got her because “she is sexy pero hindi malaswa ang dating”? “Basta thankful po akong they considered me for the part at talagang it’s an honor to be acting with great co-stars like Lorna Tolentino, Gelli de Belen, Mitch Valdez and Ruffa Gutierrez,” she says. “They’re all seasoned performers at daig ko pa ang kumukuha ng acting workshop with the experts when I am doing scenes with them. As for being sexy but not malaswa, nagpapasalamat din akong after I did the sexy cover pictorial for FHM noon, naging okay pa rin naman ang tingin sa akin ng mga tao at walang sinumang nambastos sa’kin o nalaswaan sa ginawa ko.”

In “Misterless Misis” that starts airing this Sunday at 9PM, she’s the youngest and only single member of the group of widowed or separated women headed by Mitch. “Ako rin ang pinakabagong residente sa neighborhood nila at paborito nila kong pagtsismisan dahil nakikita nilang iba-iba at kung sinu-sinong lalaki ang dumadalaw sa bahay ko. But there will be a twist later on at mare-realize nilang mali sila sa kanilang suspicions about me.”

There was a time she was linked to Director GB Sampedro of “Happy Truck ng Bayan”. How are they now? “Friends po kami. Na-link kami when I did the movie “Separados” that he directed, pero never naging kami. Hanggang ngayon po, NBSB pa rin ako.
