Maja Salvador Is Obviously The Strongest Actress With The ABS-CBN Powers That Be

ANGELINE QUINTO'S loss is Maja Salvador's gain. Angeline begged off from being one of Coco Martin's leading ladies in the TV adaptation of FPJ's "Ang Probinsiyano" as she said she's so busy with her hectic schedules (which some detractors doubted since her concert with Erik Santos at the Big Dome is now over). Since she played hard to get, she was replaced by Maja Salvador.

This confirms that Maja is the busiest contract star of the Kapamilya Network these days. She's never without an assignment. After she did "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" with Kim Chiu, she quickly did a follow up project, "Legal Wife", with Angel Locsin. Both Kim and Angel have yet to have a new teleserye but the obviously strong with the powers that be that Maja is was swiftly assigned yet another new soap, "Bridges of Love" with Jericho Rosales and Paulo Avelino.

And now that "Bridges" has just ended, here she is and is now assigned yet another important project, "Ang Probinsiyano", with ABS-CBN's fair haired boy, Coco Martin. How lucky can you get, Maja! The top ABS-CBN bosses obviously love you and care for you very much. Last we heard, they're also supporting her first big solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum in time for her birthday on October 5.

This is not the first time Maja is working with Coco. They were also paired before in "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" in 2011. But at that time, Maja was having a relationship with Matteo Guidicelli when they did the movie "My Cactus Heart". Now that she is free again after her split from Gerald Anderson, is it possible for her and Coco to be playing beautiful music together now that they're reunited in "Ang Probinsiyano"?
"Naku, naka-lock pa po ang puso kaya kalma lang muna tayo," she says. "Saka mahirap pagsabayin ang love and work sa set. Magpo-focus na lang muna kami sa trabaho para mapaganda nang husto ang show namin."
