Janine Gutierrez Chosen As Youth Advocate By The National Youth Commission

AT THE celebration of the International Youth Day last August 12, Philippine Fashion Muse Janine Gutierrez was given a special recognition as a Youth Advocate by the National Youth Commission (NYC), along with Kapuso co-actor Derrick Monasterio, at the recently concluded 1st Youth Leading Others (YoLO) Awards held at the Skydome of SM North EDSA. Janine was chosen as one of the youth ambassadors and will be joining young leaders in the country to inspire and be role model to the Filipino youth.

The Kapuso actress feels very honoured and humbled to be selected as one of the country's youth ambassadors. “It's an honour and a challenge to become the new ambassador of NYC. To be considered as a role model for young people is a big challenge for me and I hope that I will be able live up to that challenge. At the same time, I am also an ambassador of what the youth needs today and what they want to achieve in our society. I hope that I can be an example to all young people and I can be their voice in our society” she adds.

Meantime, her fans are asking as to when she'll be given a new regular project by GMA since her last soap with BF Elmo Magalona, "More than Words", has been aired a long time ago.
