Ai Ai De Las Alas To Host New Entertainment Talk Show, 'Celebri-TV', Starting Saturday To Replace 'Startalk'

AI AI DE LAS ALAS doesn’t want to comment on the remarks of some netizens that their Sunday show, “Sunday PinaSaya”, is now being imitated by ASAP that now also features comedy skits and games. “Hayaan na natin,” she says. “Mas okay na yung kami ang ginagaya kaysa kami ang ginagaya. Basta masaya kaming since we started airing three weeks ago, laging nagna-number one ang show namin at tinatangkilik ng viewers ang aming iba’t ibang numbers. Gaya nung duet namin ni Jose Manalo sa kantaserye last Sunday ng ‘Pers Lab’ at ‘TL Ako Sa’yo’, grabe ang positive feedback doon kaya tuwang-tuwa kami.”

Also a winner is Marian Rivera’s Judge MG portion where she presided over a fighting couple, Candy Pangilinan and Mike Nacua. And Wally Bayola’s Cynthia School of Acting where she teaches respected actress Jaclyn Jose how to act and dance. Another segment that’s a big hit with the audience is Alden Richards’ cooking segment as a chef where the dish he did is called Pinaupong Manok na Pretty. Comedian Jerald Napoles is definitely a plus factor in the laugh department in this portion.

What’s so nice about the show is that everyone in the cast is just obviously enjoying what they’re doing. They have all jibed well together after three weeks and there’s no sapawan or any intention to be a scene-stealer, just the effort to work together to make it a good show. “We should also praise our show’s writers, led by Mamu Andrew de Real,” adds Ai AI. “Magagaling kasi sila at marami silang naiisip na magagandang pakulo for the sho kaya tuwang-tuwa ang audience inside and outside the studio.”

And this coming Saturday, Ai Ai will again be seen in a new show, “Celebri-TV”, an entertainment talk show that will replace “Startalk”. She’s co-hosting it with Joey de Leon, Lolit Solis and Ricky Lo. “Ang dami talagang blessings na dumarating mula nang lumipat ako sa GMA-7 kaya labis akong nagpapasalamat sa management and also kay Lord para sa lahat ng biyayang ito.”

What can she say now that it’s sure Alden Richards and Yaya Dub’s love team is sure to be included in the cast of her Metro Manila filmfest entry with Vic Sotto, “Romcomin Mo Ako”? “Aba, di mas masaya. Magtutulong-tulong kaming lahat to make sure na magiging maganda talaga ang pelikula naman para magustuhan talaga at dumugin ng mga tao sa sinehan.”
