Two New Shows Produced By Ideafirst Company, 'Lolabasyang.Com' & 'Parangnormal Activity' To Start Airing This Saturday Night

THE TWO NEW shows of TV5 produced by IdeaFirst Company of Perci Intalan and Jun Lana had a twin launch last Wednesday night at Sampaguita Gardens, "LolaBasyang.Com" and "Parang Normal Activity", to start airing tonight. The whole cast of both shows were present to talk about their respective roles in the two Saturday shows.

Boots Anson Rodrigo follows in the footsteps of Rosa Mia, Chichay and Luz Fernandez in Lola Basyang. "Pero iba na si Lola Basyang ngayon," says Boots. "Hindi na siya yung lolang nakapusod, puti ang buhok, nakasalamin. Today's Lola B has now short hair, na dyed na para maitim at di na nakasalamin kasi naoperahan na ang cataract niya. And she keeps up with the times kasi high tech na siya as a blogger na marunong mag-email, mag-Facebook, Twitter and Instagram."

The first episode to be aired tonight is "Maryang Makiling" with Jasmine Curtis Smith in the title role, Rodjun Cruz and Carlos Agassi. Next Saturday's episode is "Magic Flute (Ang Plawtin ni Periking)" with Vin Abrenica, Valeen Montenegro and Ynna Asistio, followed by "Rosa Mistica" about a girl who turns into a rose starring Maxene Magalona and Joross Gamboa. For their 4th episode, they have "Ang Prinsipeng Mapaghanap", starring child actor Yogo Singh as a spoiled brat who is given a valuable life lesson by a magician played by Martin Escudero. All these episodes were directed by Perci Intalan, but future episodes will be helmed by Ricky Rivero and Jason Paul Laxamana of "Magkakabaung" fame.
